My first Adventure

My first adventure was actually yesterday afternoon. Instead of lounging in my computer chair (finally got the Internet working - yay John) I picked up my bike and headed down a bike trail. Carlos (one of four roommates) informed me the general location it lead to but I took my GPS anyways just in case I managed to venture too far. The bike trail started 2 minutes away from my new home and went all around an open field. Yes at some points I thought a homeless guy would pop out and stab me, but that was a tiny risk of what I found. First I rode along side a large soccer field for what looked like a soccer tournament. I constantly rode between yellow grass taller than me, and under green trees. Right after the field there was a picnic area with grills where many squirrels awaited peanuts or picnickers not paying attention to their chip bags. After that I rode along Laurel street for 5 minutes, which is a main rode where i live my next stop was the decent size lake with white ducks and brown geese. I had to stop and watch them swim around. Once I continued riding in the breeze I passed by a skate ramp park, basketball court with sweaty men, a homeless man's home, two bridges to two small creeks, and a large open grass field perfect for foxes and deer (which i doubt live here). I am glad I got off my butt in the chair to sit my butt on my bike seat - even though my butt this morning felt bruised. I plan on taking this trip often and feeding those squirrels and geese - i just wasn't prepared this trip. I couldn't tell you how long I rode for because I refused to look at my clock, my main reason was "why should I?"
