The Weekend To Remember

After three weeks of not seeing Jericho, he finally made the 5 hour drive to visit me. He did a romantic arrival, by surprising me by a toys end-cap at my new work. My heart leaped, but of course I pretended to be upset because I am unable to hug and kiss him since I am on the clock. I went shopping for the secret ingredients to satisfy my Jericho - spam, bacon, spam, cheese, and spam. We had movie night and it contained Steve Carrel in Despicable Me. We both agreed it was vary funny and we now have to find Jericho little minions. The next morning we left to the SPCA. The SPCA is Monterey County's animal pound. It contains rows of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, small rodents, and goats. The best part of all times was their cat room. About twenty cats live in one room and they roam around inside. We spent probably over and hour just playing with the many cats. We would have stayed longer but they kicked us out... apparently they were closing. After the pound we went to Tarpy's. A VERY fancy restaurant with VERY expensive food. We watched a wedding reception occur while we dined. It was a white girl and an Asian boy who got married, it made us both laugh. The first picture is from Lovers Point. We left early to feed the squirrels. They were hungry crazy and even leaped on my pant leg to get closer to the peanuts. I like this picture because I being adventurous like usual, and every time I would look up Jericho was watching over me. Even though he wouldn't climb the rocks, secretly I thoroughly enjoyed having him watch over me - like he always does. His trip up to Salinas was about two weeks ago so my memory is fuzzy on which events came first. We did go to San Carlos Mission in Carmel. It was beautiful and we took many photos of it.

It was a weekend I needed. Thank you Jericho, I can't wait for our next adventure.
