It didn't have to happen the way it did, but maybe it was fate? I didn't believe fate could be so cruel. Was it me who caused these effects? If I didn't leave home would have I still been captured? Every turn I make seems to led in the same direction. People forcing me to do something I believe should be my own decision. Is love still allowed here? My crowns were nothing but a symbol of being controlled. I am lost...naked...and lost.
She watched the gold wink at her through the the waterfall's mouth. She curled up hugging her exposed body. The beauty around her couldn't take away the scars upon her body. Her milky skin was stained with bloody bruises up and down her once smooth skin, stood out in the sea of greenery. Cold moss covered the rock lifting her from touching the raging water. Trees full of history surrounded this hidden oasis. The waterfall hid sounds from the forest deep inside the land of Glencar.
Leaves danced wild around her. Birds flew away and hid. Her emerald eyes widened as the hairs on her neck stood straight up. Next to her slept her dagger dripping of corrupted blood. She slowly grasp the neck of the dagger. Her shoulders and arms stiffened to brace herself for another attack. The greenery behind her crunched and parted revealing her next adventure. With one leap she stood on her rock facing the intruder. Her dagger in her left hand while her right balanced her swaggering body. Blinded at first of the intense light knocked her right into the crisp winters waters. The dagger and blood washed away leaving her exposed and armless. Crawling onto the rock took more effort she could imagine. Forcing her body up and lifting her head, her nose brushed against the snowy white felt muzzle of her new companion. She reached her hand up to place on the forehead of the magnificent beast before her. The ivory stallion crouched down low enough for her to crawl onto him. She leaned onto the stallion laying completely on his back. The beast trotted deep into the forest taking her away from Glencar. Lily embraced for the next step with her new love, Ivory.
